Influence of Integrated Use of Organic Manures and Inorganic Fertilizers on Physio-chemical Properties of Soil and Yield of Kharif Maize in Coarse Loamy Typic Haplustept Soil

Background: Maize is one of the best cereal crop as it also known “Queen cereals” by giving good taste, having more hybrid varieties, production and price also. But to make maize well fertile neutral soil important. In several previous years tthere was soil, plant environment relationship but due passing time health deteriorated using amount inorganic fertilizers (beyond limit). The insect pest attack increased uses fertilizers. Soil becomes topic in nature most chemical leached down mixed with water table. Material: two year field experiment conducted at experimental farm Lovely Professional University Phagwara Punjab during kharif season 2019- 2020 study influence integrated use organic manures on physio-chemical properties yield coarse loamy Typic Haplustept 8 treatments T1- Control, T2 - RDF (125:60:30) kg ha-1, T3- +10 ton farmyard manure T4- 75% + 10 yard ha-1+ Vermicompost @2 ton/ha, T5-75% T6- 50% vermicompost@2 ha-1 azotobacter T7-50% +15 +azotobacter T8-25 % vermicompost@ 2 RBD design 3 replications. Result: pH found highest (RDF ha-1) (7.8) whereas EC T6 (50% (0.27 dsm-1). bulk density under T1 (Control) ( 2.02 gcm-3) porosity T8 (25 (37.96%). ha-1), Nitrogen (412.3 kgh-1), phosphorus (67.77 potassium (884.3 kgh-1) carbon (0.567%) found. terms parameters, grain (4223 straw (6266 harvest index (41.53%) 1000- seed weight (366.86gms) ((50% ha-1). There are significant difference all treatements respect paramters maize.
